At 10:41 PM Central Time, external monitoring alerted us that network connectivity was lost for a period of 2 minutes. We also noticed a couple network blip between 10:59 PM to 11:06 PM.

We still assume this is an attack of the data center itself and not specifically our IP space, however, spillover effects may occur.

We have reached out to the data center engineers regarding this incident and will await their response.

  • Identified
    Identified

Our monitoring systems have detected a network issue impacting HostVenom.com and WinterNode.com services. The root cause has been identified as DDoS attacks targeting our data center, not our specific services. These attacks are saturating upstream links and causing packet loss and connectivity issues.

We understand how frustrating and disruptive this is. We are actively working with our data center and upstream providers to mitigate the impact and push for improvements. Since this is a data center wide issue, it is affecting multiple customers housed within the same data center, not just us.
