    The datacenter provider has completed the line card replacement and confirmed the maintenance is finished. No issues have been reported on our NYC nodes during or after the work.

    We will continue monitoring network performance over the next several hours as a precaution. This incident is now marked as resolved.

    Our datacenter provider in New York has identified a faulty router line card and will be replacing it during this window to resolve the hardware fault.

    All game servers on our NYC nodes may experience periods of sub-optimal network performance on certain paths while the replacement takes place. The estimated impact window is up to 1 hour, and servers are expected to stay online throughout. The full window is reserved by the provider, so the actual period of degraded performance is expected to be shorter.

    No action is needed on your part. If you continue to see connectivity or latency issues after the window closes, please open a ticket with an MTR to your server and we will investigate.

    We are extending this maintenance window to August 12th @ 5:30 PM Central Time. No customer impact has occurred so far. Expected downtime remains approximately 1 hour per machine as our technicians work through the hardware maintenance.

    Our datacenter provider in New York will be performing mandatory power load balancing during this window. The affected node will be powered down and moved to a separate PDU to redistribute load and prevent circuit overload.

    Game Servers on gs101.nyc.winternode.com will be offline during this work. The full window is reserved by the provider, so actual downtime is expected to be shorter. Services will come back online automatically once the node is powered back up.

    No action is needed on your part. If your server does not return within a reasonable time after the window closes, please open a ticket and we will investigate.

    The router software will be upgraded to fix a known firmware bug that can potentially cause unplanned downtime. During this time, there will be multiple reboot events, lasting up to an estimated 15 minutes each, causing network inaccessibility.
