    We've taken the HostVenom and WinterNode billing portals (billing.hostvenom.com and clients.winternode.com) offline as a precaution against two critical PHP vulnerabilities that are being patched today at 14:00 UTC. Your servers and services are not affected and keep running normally, and automatic renewals and payments continue as scheduled. We'll bring each portal back as soon as it's patched. If you need us in the meantime, reach out on Discord or by email.

    Their network is built with redundant infrastructure to minimize customer impact during this work. However, some customers may experience brief interruptions in connectivity while the affected devices reboot and services are restored.

    We're doing hardware maintenance on node gs164.chi to fix the stability issues that caused some servers to crash unexpectedly. We're replacing the RAM of the affected machine.

    What to expect: Servers that are on the gs164.chi.winternode.com node will be powered off for a short while during the swap. Your files and worlds are safe, and nothing is needed from you.

    We'll post an update here as soon as everything is back online. Thanks for your patience!

    The datacenter provider has completed the line card replacement and confirmed the maintenance is finished. No issues have been reported on our NYC nodes during or after the work.

    We will continue monitoring network performance over the next several hours as a precaution. This incident is now marked as resolved.

    Our datacenter provider in New York has identified a faulty router line card and will be replacing it during this window to resolve the hardware fault.

    All game servers on our NYC nodes may experience periods of sub-optimal network performance on certain paths while the replacement takes place. The estimated impact window is up to 1 hour, and servers are expected to stay online throughout. The full window is reserved by the provider, so the actual period of degraded performance is expected to be shorter.

    No action is needed on your part. If you continue to see connectivity or latency issues after the window closes, please open a ticket with an MTR to your server and we will investigate.
